Editing can be such a long and arduous process and it is difficult to avoid overwhelm at times even if you do have a professional editor working with you.
Your editor will of course, read, scan and suggest amendments to your manuscript but you'll still have to re-read and feedback and sometimes it will feel like you are constantly marking your homework but that is just a part of the process!

Writing is by definition a solitary process and sometimes, after several hours in your chair, your brain can feel as numb as your behind!
We expect our brain's to operate at full speed 24/7 so it isn't a huge surprise when occasionally we hit a creative wall.
